SOLUTION

  • Working directly with the store owner, developed new brand identity options that incorporated design cues from retro video games
     

  • Eventually settle on 8-bit style logo with double-arrow icon to 
     

  • Storefront demonstrates main logo on the front window, simplified logo on the banner above, and secondary logo above door
     

  • Additional incorporated both the 8-bit and double-arrow style cues into all the main window graphics

CHALLENGE

  • Create new storefront signage for Boston-based video games and electronics store
     

  • Develop new brand identity to reflect store's repositioning from electronics repair to a new focus on used video game sales
